Description
Air Handling Unit is a device used to regulate and circulate air in a building or other enclosed space. It is typically a large metal box containing a blower, heating or cooling coils, filters, dampers, and sound attenuators. The AHU is responsible for conditioning and distributing air throughout the building.
The AHU can also be equipped with humidifiers or dehumidifiers to control the humidity level of the air. In addition, some AHUs have energy recovery systems that recover heat from the exhaust air and transfer it to the incoming fresh air, which can help reduce energy costs.
AHUs are used in a variety of settings, including commercial and industrial buildings, hospitals, schools, and other public facilities. They play a critical role in maintaining indoor air quality and ensuring a comfortable and healthy environment for occupants.
Top manufacturers of air handling unit are Finpower Aircon, LG, Flaktgroup and Daikin.
